What is Heroic Love?
Heroic Love is a sacrificial, courageous, and brave love that places the other before oneself and seeks the best for that person’s life. Heroic Love is our staff and volunteers choosing in the midst of the Pandemic to see this work as an essential work and having taken every precaution for themselves and clients yet working closely to render services that lead to the saving of lives and souls. We see Heroic Love in expectant mothers that make a decision for life when often pressured and abandoned by others and culture.

Why support Heroic Love?
Your support makes it possible for us to have the conversation that often leads to conversion and the embracing of a child that may otherwise have been aborted. If we have the conversation with an abortion minded mother, we succeed at least 80% of the time. We also accompany those who are post-abortive to receive hope and healing.
Her Choice Birmingham Women’s Center accompanies women during unplanned pregnancies. It’s a critical time when the mother and unborn child’s life and well-being hang in the balance, and Heroic Love can make all the difference. Clients receive necessary services like ultrasounds, pregnancy resources, medical referrals, parenting instruction and sexual integrity classes in English or Spanish.
Over the past year, even with voluntary and imposed pandemic stay at home orders, we were still able to see and render multiple services to hundreds of women, including at least 90 abortion minded mothers who changed their minds and chose life! We also know of at least 350 mothers who gave birth! You make it possible for us to have those soul and lifesaving conversations.
